31 years ago, I started as a temporary worker at McCain Foods Lelystad. It was supposed to be just for one night, but now, all these years later, I’m still here – proudly working as a Team Leader!  I started as a potato peeler and moved through various roles, including operator, packing operator, and eventually Team Leader. Over the years, I’ve gained extensive knowledge of how to turn a potato into high-quality fries. I’ve truly become a “Frietologist”!

I joined McCain three years ago with the desire to work for a company that holds strong values. I started as a Sales Representative and I’m now a Category Manager. It's an exciting role that is at the heart of the relationship between McCainand the retailers. McCain strengthens competitiveness and sustainability in France.

In 2024, McCain announced a €300 million investment to boost the competitiveness and sustainability of its French production sites.

With over 40 years in France and strong ties to 800 local farmers, McCain is modernizing operations to reduce its environmental impact. At Harnes, a new water treatment plant will enable water reuse, aiming to cut water consumption by 30% per tonne of finished product by 2030. Biomass boilers will also be installed across all French sites to decarbonize energy use.

McCain is committed to reducing its absolute CO2 emissions by 50% and driving sustainable innovation for the future.
