Position Hours: Monday – Friday, Day Shift

Pay: $28.22 per hour, up to 3% quarterly bonus & $1,500 sign on bonus!

Statement of Job

This position will audit daily labor usage accounts each day, including employee upgrades, trades, volunteers and attendance.

Payroll duties will include but not limited to, all Kronos duties associated with payroll (new hires, job awards, attendance tracking, wage increases, holiday pay, vacation pay and vacation payouts, preparing data for payroll posting).

Timekeeping:

1. Daily, record all messages from Timekeeping Message Line and log all calls for reporting purposes.  Edit timecards as necessary for timekeeping purposes.  
2. Reviews daily labor usage.  Revises cost centers in Kronos as needed to ensure labor is appropriately allocated to each cost center, including modified duty employees/volunteer reassignment schedule and trade slips. Enters job upgrades as necessary in timecards. 
3. Enters all attendance issues in employee attendance files, including call ins, tardies, early outs, missing punches, suspensions, FML requests/approvals and any other attendance related issues. Forwards all disciplinary actions to HR specialist.
4. Maintains the payroll pick up log (zero hour adjustments and non-worked hours adjustments and PTO payments).
5. Audits daily SAP/Kronos download reports for job award updates to Kronos as necessary.  Update daily time cards as needed until job award process is complete.
6. Inputs PTO hours for payment each week. Enters bonus PTO payout requests.  Determines end of year PTO balance for all hourly employees and enters final vacation payout. Maintains PTO master file which includes PTO rates. Maintains PTO yearly excel list making additions/cancellations per PTO forms.

Prints PTO forms as new hires are eligible.

7. Creates hourly holiday payment file and maintains records of holiday payments per company policy.

Other:

1. Participate in biweekly payroll conference call led by Corporate Payroll personnel.
2. Conduct testing in System C as requested by Global Help Desk, Corporate Payroll, and others as needed for Kronos updates and improvements and for testing expected results of policy changes.  
3. Perform other related tasks as directed by the HR Manager.

1. Must be a team player and be able to maintain good working relationship with all departments and plant employees.
2. Ability to maintain confidentiality of employee data.
3. Attention to detail and accuracy is essential for this position. 
4. Must possess strong written and oral communication skills and possess ability to interact with a diverse group of individuals (hourly employees, management).
5. This position requires a general knowledge of the functions of each department.
6. A minimum three years of clerical work experience is preferred, with experience in a general office environment a plus. 
7. A working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and AS400 system.
