About the Role

Transborder Coordinator

Winnipeg, MB

Full-time

 

To support the terminal operations and management teams in all aspects of Transborder operational processes including liaising with internal and external customers, suppliers and employees in order to achieve goals and objectives.

 

How You’ll Help

  • Ensure accurate and smooth flow of freight into and out of Canadian Borders
  • Resolve customer complaints
  • Trace missing Transborder freight
  • Clear all freight with customs offices and ensure smooth transport of goods
  • Fixes freight issues with customs proactively
  • Assists dock worker in organizing and ensuring customs cleared freight is loaded onto correct trailers to ensure zero issues with freight crossing border and zero misdirects
  • Ensure manifesting and billing for all Transborder delivery units are accurate and completed in a timely manner
  • Work with our US partner in resolving paperwork and inaccuracies.
  • Work with our US partner regarding billing discrepancies.

 

Your Skills & Experience:

  • Must be a Grade 12 graduate
  • Relevant Experience in the transportation industry is an asset
  • Post-Secondary education in business related field is preferred
  • Strong PC skills required
  • Ability to learn in-house software quickly such as AS400
  • Effective and excellent communication skills
  • Highly developed organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize all tasks
  • Must be able to thrive in a fast paced environment
