With the digital transformation changing the business model of McCain in the Foodservice market, to lift and accelerate the digital empowerment within the Foodservice organization a Digital center of Excellence will be put in place.

 This team must set the pace, collaborate strongly with the various departments in Foodservice and align departments to contribute to drive the Foodservice business results. The ultimate goal is to keep on pushing for change, so McCain stays future fit for its position as category captain within the Foodservice environment. 

The Digital Brand Activation Manager is responsible for the European Food Service central brand activation via digital channels. He/She is working with the marketers of the central team to develop a communication strategy from insight to plan, from his/her background as a digital marketing expert. He/She support the local teams in brand activation on digital channels.

 

ABOUT THE ROLE:

  • Build digital-centric activation platforms via a 360° toolkit optimized to digital channels:

-Work with other marketers of the central team on brand activation plans, from his/her expertise in digital marketing.
-Cocreate with agencies on the creatives (images, videos, ads) for digital channels e.g., social media channels, display advertising, McCain websites and other paid or owned channels.

 

  • Drive the implementation of local brand activation campaigns:

-Be the expert on digital brand activation campaigns to local and central marketing/sales teams in Foodservice. Support the local teams with central (digital) content. Advice teams on brand activation campaigns.

 

  • Gather European customer insights, based on similarities of national insights:

-Gather (digital) customer data and insights in cooperation with local teams  in order to improve customer knowledge in segments of interest.
-Recognize the similarities between customer insights from countries, in order to build pan-european customer propositions and activation plans.

-Track best practices & learnings from various local activation campaigns to create synergies and leverage best practices amongst local markets.

 

  • Track & analyse digital key performance indicators at Local & European level:

-Follow-up & analyse on a regular basis automated KPI dashboards in order to track performance of local in-bound & out-bound campaigns and track digital performance at Local & European level.

-Identify best-in-class execution/areas of improvement to continuously adapt & improve the central brand digital strategy.

 

  • Populate & optimize content and customers navigation experience on McCain FS website:

-Continuous attention paid on McCain FS CEU master website to make sure the content is relevant & optimized to enable best performances in terms of SEO, navigation, traffic, call to actions, etc.

 

  • Training & coaching local marketers on brand activation through digital channels:

-Development of trainings on specific digital marketing topics e.g., email marketing, ad campaigns, social media advertising, SEO etc.

-Delivery of trainings to local marketers.

-Coaching on the job on the topic towards local marketers.

 

  • Drive innovation and improvement in the area of digital sales and marketing across Continental Europe:

-Collaborate with colleagues of the Center of Digital Excellence to bring change to the local teams i.e., more digitized sales and marketing processes.

-Bring new, innovative business ideas for digital to McCain Foodservice, the company or food industry.

 

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR…

  • Have a master degree with a specialization in Digital Marketing
  • Have already significant experience in project management 
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in digital/communication ideally in B to B channel
  • Be fluent in English 
  • Be able to manage multiple projects in an engaging & multicultural environment
  • Have strong knowledge in digital tools, social media & CRM software ( ideally already knows Salesforce)
  • Have excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Have Leadership skills – likes to drive projects and get results
