The Finance Transformation team’s vision is to partner with regions to transform Finance to focus on business strategy by leveraging expert analysis skills, effective processes, and efficient use of shared services. The primary responsibility of the Senior Change & Communications Manager – Finance Strategic Transformation is to support the team vision by defining, developing and implementing change management strategies that drive faster adoption and proficiency with the changes that impact employees. The Senior Change Manager & Communications Manager will also act as a coach for leaders to help them fulfill their role of change sponsor. This role will also support project teams in integrating change management activities into their project plans.

 

How You’ll Add Value:

  • People (communication and relationships)
    • Create and implement communication strategies and plans – including feedback mechanisms.
    • Collaborate and engage leaders and colleagues to lead engagement programs for change management.
    • Address and resolve issues.
    • Work with and enable partners to collectedly manage all aspects of a change (e.g., Project team, HR, learning and development, business leaders, Regional SMEs)
  • Processes (continuous improvement, user communities, support)
    • Develop comprehensive change readiness strategies, change sustainability and business transition plans.
    • Establish and partner to maintain user communities to maintain and enhance process knowledge.
  • Systems (change & training)
    • Identify impacted stakeholders and conduct change impact assessments.
    • Develop and implement Change Management and Training strategies and plans – including assessments.
    • Map, analyze and prepare risk mitigation tactics; proactively identify and manage anticipated resistance.
    • Create and sustain on demand training deliverables that are easily accessible.
    • In partnership with project management requirements, manage status reports, issue resolution, implementation and monitoring of change success metrics.

About You:

  • 7+ years related experience as change management lead on large projects or transformations.
  • Specific change management experience:
    • Using change management strategies and “best practices”, developing cross-organizational plans and identifying and mitigating related risks
    • Coordinating organizational changes with various stakeholder groups including experience designing, facilitating and supporting workshops that include a variety of stakeholders.
    • Building training strategies and plans – including a variety of delivery options and deliverables
    • Creating strong instructional design courses – including interactive e-learning
    • Developing and delivering communications
    • Implementing operating model changes, process changes, culture transformations (shifting behaviours and mindsets)
  • Demonstrated ability to work with relevant stakeholders to collect, aggregate and evaluate impacts, risks and mitigations for any organizational change.
  • Proven experience developing relationships across multiple functions and levels.
  • Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle
  • Experience creating change and training programs for SAP implementations, especially Finance modules.
