Summary:

We are looking for a Logistics Analyst to join our office in Toronto, Ontario or Oakbrook, Illinois office. The Logistics Analyst will play a key role in creating processes to validate and support external warehouses’ cost control. In addition to external warehouse invoices, they will also be responsible for pallet monthly and quarterly reconciliation along with annual physical count reconciliation of pallets.  This position works collaboratively with other teams and will report to the Manager, Logistics Reporting & Analytics.

 

How You’ll Add Value:

  • Execute detailed data analysis of 3PL warehouses and logistics invoices to validate activity.
  • Work with vendors’ internal team on consistent invoicing, coding, and reporting protocol.
  • Develop and execute data analysis processes that are scalable and auditable.
  • Work closely with pallet providers and ensure accuracy of pallet inventory and flow at each site.
  • Coordinate with Chep EDI team and the warehouse technical EDI team to facilitate the required testing to enable EDI capability for all 3PL sites with Chep Pallet.
  • Support design, build, and mining of system data from TMS to use in visualization tools such as Power BI.
  • Assist warehouse networks with project identification for risks and opportunity by leveraging system data.
  • Work with procurement as needed to support validating RFP projected savings.
  • Support internal audit compliance requirements and ad hoc projects as needed.

 

About You:

  • 3+ years of Accounts Receivable or Account Payable experience
  • 3+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience.
  • 3+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, statistics, or finance required.
  • Experience in logistics, transportation or warehouse preferred.
  • Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills. Must be able to convey information to all levels of the organization in a clear, focused, and concise manner.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience in working with PowerBI or similar data visualization tools.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong financial, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Results-oriented, hands-on, highly motivated, and autonomous.
  • Experience with CPG or other food manufacturing companies strongly preferred.
