Key Responsibilities:

Pre-Deployment:

  • Own the global deployment roadmap and incorporate updates as requested by MDIxAI and MDI governance structure
  • Lead the MDIxAI Deployment function and ensure pre-deployment project timelines are met effectively across regions
  • Define global deployment playbook in accordance with MDI lead deployment principles
  • Own refinement of global deployment playbook for successful deployment execution, and communicate with key stakeholders to ensure that relevant teams have input into standardized deployment planning materials (e.g., plant readiness checklists, training materials)
  • Develop a global deployment roadmap and track advancement on deployment roadmap as pre-deployment activities progress to drive consistent preparation and successful rollout across regions

 

Deployment:

  • Lead the MDIxAI Deployment function in executing on deployment playbook
  • MDIxAI Program Management After Deployment:
  • Set global standards for future deployments based on feedback (user adoption and satisfaction scores after MDIxAI deployment) and recommend change management improvements in deployment plan
  • Coordinate feedback with Global Workstream Leads (e.g. Product, Change Management & Comms, etc) to share key learnings following deployments and ensure success of future rollouts in other regions

 

Shared responsibilities

  • Develops pre-deployment & deployment strategy in collaboration with other members of Deployment Team and IT team
  • Provides guidelines for standardized training that Deployment Team, Digital Lead and IT should provide plant employees in preparation for deployment
  • Conduct deployment retrospective meetings and collect feedback to drive success and optimize resourcing and timeline of future MDIxAI deployments in collaboration with Deployment Team

 

KEY QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCES:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or a related field is often required, with a preference for a Master's degree.
  • Relevant certifications in project management, Agile methodologies, Six Sigma, or specific digital technologies are beneficial.
  • 10 years of experience, with a background in manufacturing and/or digital technologies. Expertise in digital manufacturing technologies, experience in leading large-scale global projects, and skills in change management. International experience.
  • Leadership, excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving abilities, adaptability, and effective stakeholder management.
  • Willingness to travel internationally and, multilingual is a plus.
