JOB PURPOSE:

As a Director within our Data, AI, and Analytics tech organization, you will play a pivotal role in developing data and analytics strategy in partnership with our global and regional manufacturing functions.  You have extensive experience in digital manufacturing, Data, and AI to lead our digital transformation journey in the CPG/Food or other IoT based industrial products manufacturing companies.  The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing strategic initiatives to optimize our manufacturing operations, enhance productivity, reduce waste, reduce downtimes and optimize resource consumptions.  You will drive continuous improvement through the integration of IoT devices, data pipelines, AI, and Advanced Analytics solutions to drive better predictability in our business.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of digital manufacturing solutions leveraging IoT devices, advanced data analytics, AI to optimize production processes, improve equipment reliability, control quality, and drive operational efficiencies.
  • Collaborate with global and regional cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, tech services, supply chain, to define data platform requirements, and develop machine learning models and analytics solutions that deliver business outcomes.
  • Create and maintain a comprehensive data analytics roadmap aligned to global and regional digital manufacturing goals and industry best practices.
  • Drive the collection, analysis, validation, classification, projection of manufacturing data to identify trends, patterns and insights that enable proactive maintenance.
  • Implement advanced analytics and machine learning algorithms to develop predictive models for process optimization, quality control and resource optimization.
  • Lead the integration of digital manufacturing technologies with in-house and 3rd party software, ensuring seamless interoperability and data flow across the enterprise data platform.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies, data security, and best practices in digital manufacturing.  

 

KEY QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCES:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, data science, or related field; Master’s / PhD degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in digital manufacturing, advanced analytics and AI, with deep understanding of manufacturing data and AI to maximize equipment availability, optimize performance, and ensure high-quality output to enhance overall production efficiency.
  • Strong technical expertise in IoT technologies, sensor networks, data acquisition systems, and industrial automation platforms.
  • Experience with machine learning algorithms, and statistical analysis techniques.
  • Experience implementing advanced analytics solutions in manufacturing including descriptive analytics, diagnostic analytics, prescriptive analytics, predictive quality control, energy management, predictive maintenance, process optimization, asset performance management,
  • Excellent program execution and change management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams to drive global initiatives from ideation to implementation using Agile methodology.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to business stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker and thought leader with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement in manufacturing processes.
  • Experience with both edge computing and cloud computing, and event-driven architecture.
  • Experience of working effectively in a culturally diverse organization within the FMCG/CPG industry.
  • Strong product management experience with experience supporting data-products P&Ls.
  • Passion for innovation, continuous learning and ability to work in a global, matrix organization.
