The Learning and Development Coordinator contributes to the design, development, implementation and evaluation of programs which encourage, maintain and strengthen the capability of production employees within the McCain manufacturing environment.

 

The Learning and Development Coordinator provides direct support and advice to the Training Manager ANZ to ensure consistency and standardisation of Learning and Development practice, governance, and frameworks.  They also work closely with the Manufacturing frontline teams in Production, Health and Safety and Maintenance to enhance training processes and learning initiatives.

 

 

About the role

  • Provide support to production employees annual performance reviews and creation of development plans
  • Collaborate with other ANZ Learning and Development Coordinators to build best practice structure and process
  • Maintain training package governance to ensure currency of materials across the site through a regular review process
  • Work with SME’s to develop materials to assist with compliance requirements, task specific work instructions, skill matrix and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Maintain McCain employee training records in the Learning Management system and other data management tools
  • Provide regular and timely reporting to the Training Manager ANZ and plant leadership teams
  • Adhere to all local body, legislative and corporate policies as they relate to learning practice requirements
  • Collaborate with other ANZ Learning and Development Coordinators to build best practice structure and process
  • Support the MDI operational excellence and lean manufacturing program
     

About you

  • Certificate IV TAE qualification or relevant tertiary qualifications in human resources or related field
  • Previous experience in production or manufacturing type industry will be highly regarded
  • Experience in a similar training administration/coordination role
  • Proficiency in MS Office and working knowledge of databases. Experience in using Learning Management Systems, SAP and Kronos would be an advantage.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering training
  • Knowledge and experience of manufacturing - understanding production processes, products and packaging (desirable)
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.  Capacity to engage, interact, influence, and be a trusted partner across all levels of the organisation to achieve business objectives
  • Effective verbal communication skills including the ability to prepare and present findings and recommendations to address and manage a broad range of people and issues
  • Ability to interpret and follow guidelines, policies, procedures, industrial agreements, instruments and relevant legislations
