Position Title:Procurement Excellence Specialist

 

The Procurement Excellence Specialist will contribute to the development and execution of local and regional data, processes and governance activities for the business. The specialist will lead the collection, processing and integrity of data, development and optimization of pipelines, in addition to collaborating on multidisciplinary projects, being guardian of datas, process, procedure and procurement guidelines, promoting the effectiveness and quality of operations.

Resposabilities:

1. Data Management and Analysis:

   - Ensure the accuracy and efficiency of procurement data analysis, ensuring data source integrity.

   - Develop and implement dashboards and KPIs for governance, reporting, and strategic decision-making support.

   - Utilize tools such as Excel, MySQL, Power BI, and Google Analytics for data analysis and insights generation.

2. Process Development and Implementation:

   - Define and implement efficient processes for the procurement department.

   - Continuously monitor and optimize processes, identifying improvement opportunities.

   - Structure and design dashboards using data tools to monitor process performance.

3. Governance and Procurement Policy:

   - Act as the guardian of procurement policies, processes, procedures, and guidelines, establishing information governance programs to ensure compliance and effectiveness.

   - Actively participate in internal and external audit initiatives to ensure procurement process compliance and efficiency.

   - Continuously review policies, processes, and procedures aligned with best practices and organizational objectives.

4. Digital Transformation and Continuous Improvement:

   - Develop and execute a comprehensive digital transformation plan to modernize procurement processes.

   - Participate in digitization projects and system implementations to continuously optimize processes and increase operational efficiency.

   - Develop innovative tools, macros, automations, and methodologies to align procurement indices with organizational strategic objectives.

5. Relationship Building and Collaboration:

   - Proactively collaborate with different internal areas to identify improvement opportunities and develop joint projects.

   - Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to align procurement initiatives with organizational needs.

   - Develop and lead training sessions and executive reports to effectively communicate procurement results and strategies.

 

Requirements:

 

- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

- Advanced knowledge of Excel, Python and/or MySQL, Power BI, and Google Analytics.

- Skill in developing and implementing dashboards and KPIs.

- Familiarity with data analysis and automation tools.

- Fluency in English, knowledge of Spanish as a competitive advantage.

 

Desirable

- Experience in digital transformation and continuous improvement projects.

- Experience in data governance and procurement policies.
