Position Summary

 

We are looking for a Human Resources Intern to join us for a four month period, starting in May 2024. The position pays $20.00- $22.00 hourly. 

 

This position will be based onsite at our Othello, WA site.

 

The successful candidate will report into the HR Business Partner and partner closely with the HR Team and key business leaders as a key support for the implementation of our Dimensions Timekeeping Project, as well as provide front line support areas such as retention, recruitment, compensation, and employee relations.

What You Will Be Working On

 

  • Project lead for Dimensions implementation, including leading training sessions for front line leaders and employees.
  • Provide key support to the HR Team in deploying programs related to Employee Engagement, Diversity Equity and Inclusion, and Community Relations
  • Participate in change management HR projects, as defined.
  • General administrative duties and other tasks as assigned

 

What You Will Learn

 

  • HR Project Implementation experience and how to collaborate with key business stakeholders
  • Gain insight into industrial manufacturing HR operations

 

What You Need to be Successful

 

  • Enrolled in University/College program, ideally with a focus on Human Resources with an accredited institution.
  • Must have proven history of safe work habits, promotion and adherence to company safe work rules and regulations.
  • Results orientated, team player with demonstrated prioritization skills, as well as problem solving abilities.
  • Tact and diplomacy - ensure professionalism when dealing with internal customers and outside vendors - ability to build strong relationships.
  • Proficiency in MS office products.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, planning, and organizational skills as well as an ability to maintain confidentiality.
