SUMMARY:
The Supply Chain Analyst plays a pivotal role within the NA Supply Chain Analytics team, utilizing Power BI and other relevant analytics tools within the Microsoft Power Platform to conduct data analysis, modeling, and visualization. Collaborating closely with senior analysts, cross-functional teams, and supply chain stakeholders, this role extracts actionable insights from data to drive continuous improvement initiatives throughout the supply chain. By fostering collaboration and leveraging advanced analytics tools, the Supply Chain Analyst ensures alignment and maximizes the impact of data-driven decisions across the organization.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Data Analysis and Visualization:

  • Collaborate with supply chain stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into actionable insights using Power BI.
  • Conduct data analysis to identify patterns and improvement opportunities within supply chain operations.
  • Build, maintain, and enhance dashboards, data flows, and documentation.
  • Monitor, debug, and manage errors on current reports.


Reporting and Dashboard Development:

  • Assist in designing, building, and maintaining Power BI data models, reports, and dashboards.
  • Generate ad hoc reports and perform data analysis using Power BI, SQL, and other tools.
  • Work with users to understand supply chain metrics and create reports to present supply chain performance accordingly.
  • Collaborate with supply chain team members to understand metrics and present insights effectively through reports and dashboards.

 

Data Management and Support:

  • Utilize SQL skills to write queries for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis from various sources.
  • Support senior analyst in data preparation, harmonization, and basic programming tasks.

Required Education, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline such as operations research, computer science, business analytics, or another analytical field
  • Preferred supply chain and process improvement education, training and/or certification through professional organizations (APICS, CSCMP) 

 

Professional/Technical Qualification  

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Power Platform, especially Power BI (DAX), with experience developing and maintaining data models, reports, and dashboards.
  • SQL skills for data querying and manipulation, as well as proficiency in Excel functions and tools such as Power Query.
  • Preferred experience in SAP, TMS (E2Open), SAP IBP.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Familiarity with basic programming concepts and the ability to learn new technical skills as needed.
