Position Title: Sales Planning Analyst

Job Description
The Sales Planning Analyst will provide analytical support within the Sales Planning team, Sales organization across all channels (Foodservice, Region Chain, Non-Comm, Retail) and broader cross-functional teams including Marketing, Insights, and Supply Chain. Responsible for analyzing data from various sources to identify root cause of trends/issues as well as providing opportunities to enable the organization and partners’ execution. Role to be headquartered centrally at corporate office with opportunity for limited travel in support of teams’ requirements.


    Synthesize data from various sources (direct shipment data, end user claims, syndicated data, 3rd party distributor data, Salesforce, PROS) and provide insight and recommendations on business 
    Deliver and present data and findings in a meaningful format to organization/partners in support of business opportunities and projects
    Identify opportunities related to AOC/budget tracking and KPI targets within relevant divisions for Sales teams and Agency partners 
    Develop understanding of Salesforce CRM platform and PROS CPQ module as secondary support to Commercial teams and department
    Build knowledge base in managing reporting platforms to ensure data integrity, creating dashboards and standardized view of business
    Perform ad-hoc analysis and provide recommendations/insights in support of Regional and Global exercises and projects


    College degree required
    1-4 years relevant work experience in sales, analytics, finance or category management (Foodservice industry or B2B experience a plus)
    Strong analytical skills and high intellectual curiosity 
    High capability to mine and maneuver data from various sources
    Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint or similar software
    Strong customers service and interpersonal skills to collaborate internally/externally
    Desire to take ownership of project opportunities, tasks
