About the Role
Administrative Coordinator
Full-time 
Mississauga, ON


 

The Administrative Coordinator is responsible for Auditing & Coordinating the Master Staffing Planner and related duties for The Day & Ross Transportation Group. The purpose of this role is to support the business by looking after the administrative processes for the terminal.

 

How You’ll Help

  • Coordinate with the agencies for staffing and responsible for keeping the master staffing plan updated per shift for tracking hours.
  • Audit Time Cards and Update Master Staffing Planner
  • Special Assignments required for the success of the terminal and cost saving initiatives
  • Work directly with management to ensure their current staffing model has all positions filled.
  • Coordinate with Agencies.
  • Other related duties as may be required. 

 

Your Skills & Experience: 

  • Minimum of secondary education, with preference of post-secondary education (general stream), or a combination of education and experience.
  • Previous Transportation or operational experience is preferred, various roles within transportation would be beneficial 
  • Communication skills - advanced
  • Computer skills – accuracy, MS products, AS400, web based programs
  • Demonstrated customer relationship skills
  • Strong conflict resolution skills
  • Able to work deadlines in high transactional environment
  • Ability to champion business needs in a collaborative manner to colleagues
  • Results focused
