Position Title:Financial Analyst, Costing Continental Europe

Position Purpose:
The Costing team supports several departments within McCain Continental Europe (CE) of which commercial control, manufacturing, master data team and procurement are the main ones. Support includes cost price calculations, costing datamanagement and analysis on procurement. The Financial Analyst Costing CE is responsible for delivering cost data for productsetup in SAP, performing cost price calculations, supporting the new product introduction process either cost calculation of existing products on commercial tenders. The role includes business partnership for procurement, such as support in sustainable cost advantage, variance analysis and forecasting.
The role requires a blend of analytical thinking, business savvy and hands-on involvement in the business. The Financial Analyst, Costing CE reports to the Manager, Costing CE.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Forecasting & Budgeting

           - Support of the forecast and budget process

  • Cost price calculation & cost data management
  • Procurement Business Partnership
  • Closing Process & Compliance

           - Ensure the ownership of the closing process for the Costing and procurement area inline with the compliance expectations.

  • Projects

           - Involvement in various ad-hoc tasks, including cross-functional and functional projects.

  • Processes & Tools

           - As key user of numerous transversal processes and tools, playing an instrumental role in their optimization, development and documentation.




  • Result and process oriented, highly motivetad person
  • Around 2-5 years’ experience in a controlling environment is a plus
  • Bachelor or Master degree in finance
  • Broad solid fundamental knowledge of both accounting and business operations
  • Strategic understanding and solid business partner
  • Committed to respect deadlines, team player
  • Problem-solving skills and solutions oriented
  • Quantitative and analytical advanced skills
  • Expert in Excel skills
  • Experience with enterprise-wide financial planning software systems such as OneStream, SAP, Hyperion
  • Excellent knowledge of English and Dutch on a business level (written and verbal)
