We are looking for a Process Control Manager Central Europe based in The Netherlands (Lelystad or Lewedorp). In this position, you will have interesting challenges, the opportunity to increase your skills, and grow within McCain. You will report to the Technical Services Manager Continental Europe.

In this role you will be: 

• Working alongside plant managers and production managers to hold plant leadership accountable for assets and process optimization.
• The expert and responsible for performance improvement, implementation of development strategies and new sustainable cost optimization projects in the region.
• Supporting, coaching and training the operational teams. 

As a Process Control Manager, you will:

• Provide operational and technical support to the Plants focusing on process equipment efficiency, standardization and raw material utilization across SQDC
• Work closely with Plant and Engineering department to support capital project deployment. Advise plants on savings, support projects from budgeting to commissioning
• Depending on the projects, be in charge of defining the user requirement specifications, writing the functional description and performing new equipment validation
• Contribute to identifying improved equipment and processes, Startup Management and sustainment of performance
• Implement and sustain McCain best practices and increase the knowledge and capability of our manufacturing leaders and operators
• Assist R&D on implementation of new products / technologies
• Support network optimization; the movement of SKU’s through our network, new product developments, and support the interfaces between manufacturing and other supply chain functions

 
Profile:

• You have a Master’s Degree in Food Science or Engineering;
• Ideally you have a minimum of 2-3 years in Engineering, Manufacturing or Technical Services ;
• Good communication skills;
• Good to excellent language skills in English;
• Autonomous, analytic and problem solving;
• You are an excellent networker for internal and external stakeholders;
• Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel / Power BI.
