About the Role
Carrier Relations Compliance Coordinator
Full-time 
Brampton, ON

 

The Carrier Relations Compliance Coordinator is responsible to ensure the on-boarding of Interline, Agent and Hired Truck Operations are compliant with Company policy, Provincial and Federal regulations. Related  function of this role is intake of Proof Of Delivery from Carriers, auditing of current processing functions, invoices and documented follow up with all stakeholders.  

 

How You’ll Help

  • Manages time and initiatives effectively and independently and achieves compliance with  Carrier On boarding Paperwork including CVOR, Safety Profile, Insurance Liability  Coverage, Rate Tariffs and Contract Paperwork. 
  • Coordinate the migration of Carrier Partners EDI/Web forms, PODs to ensure compliance to corporate requirements
  • Provides administrative support as a team member to ensure Carriers provide On Time Service Levels and submit Proof of Deliveries in a timely manner
  • Creates awareness, identifies issues, problems, opportunities by working collaboratively with other departments to ensure improved customer experience and profitability.  
  • Delivers effectively using persuasive skills by working collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders daily, sharing relevant information.  Utilizes multiple methods of communication depending on the stakeholder, delivering communication that is clear, concise, timely, detailed and well-understood by all parties involved.
  • Develop, Train  and Implement  SOP’s for Carrier Partners by partnering with applicable stakeholders from various departments in the business and Carrier Partners
  • Support department to create and report on KPI’s, Metrics and Scorecards to measure and monitor performance 

 

Your Skills & Experience: 

  • College, University degree or equivalent experience  
  • 3+ years experience in transportation/logistics industry 
  • Ability to map processes and document SOP’s
  • High degree of computer proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint and other MS Office applications 
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written 
  • Must be able to self manage, take initiative and work independently
  • Able to analyze, interpret and solve problems
  • Able to gather input from internal & external customers
